Paris, France – September 29, 2025
Tonight, the prestigious Théâtre Marigny hosted the third edition of the European Natural Beauty Awards (ENBA) — an event that has become an unmissable gathering for Europe’s cosmetics industry.
Imagined and founded by Satu Mäkinen, the ceremony brought together 700 guests from across Europe to celebrate a more authentic, transparent, and mindful vision of beauty.
Honouring Commitment and Innovation
Through its three main distinctions — the Excellence Awards, Industry Awards, and Innovation Awards — the ceremony celebrated brands and products that embody the founding values of the ENBA: authenticity, transparency, ethics, innovation, excellence, and inclusivity.
This year, the jury, composed of 100 personalities from 35 countries, including industry experts, scientists, beauty journalists, and celebrities, evaluated hundreds of applications. Only 10% of the submitted products successfully passed the demanding selection and jury evaluation process, ensuring the list of awarded products truly represents excellence.
A Strong Message for the Industry
This Parisian edition reaffirmed the mission of the ENBA: to fight greenwashing and redefine beauty standards in Europe.
By combining efficacy, sustainability, and respect for both skin and planet, the awarded companies demonstrate that today’s true luxury is rooted in nature.
“We know where egoistic behaviour leads. Competing with people who share a common mission for a better future is unnecessary. There is space for every single effort, for every step — even the side steps we can learn from. Because when we move forward together, those side steps become part of a shared success”,
reminded Satu Mäkinen, the founder of the ENBA, in her opening speech.
A Prestigious EUROPEAN Recognition
Receiving an ENBA Award means benefiting from:
- increased visibility among European buyers and media,
- an official label guaranteeing quality, naturalness, and authenticity, and
- inclusion in the Natural Beauty Directory, a trusted reference for professionals and consumers alike.
A Successful 2025 Edition
In numbers, this third edition confirmed the strong momentum launched in 2023:
- 124 awarded brands
- Over 1,270 applications received
- 100 independent jury members
