In the awards November series of blog posts, we get to know the brands behind the nominee products of the European Natural Beauty Awards 2023. In this post, we are proud to share more about the French natural cosmetics brand Antheya, as told by the brand:

“Anthea is a family business born over 14 years ago in the Haut de France by two passionate and dedicated people, Claudia and Sylvain Janquin. Graduated in chemistry and phytotherapist training, we wanted to act to offer an alternative in care and natural hygiene products.

After more than ten years of growing at our pace, Héléna, who shares our common vision, joined us in 2022 after completing her cosmetic formulation studies.

We created Antheya to offer healthy, simple, natural products without unnecessary packaging. This is part of changing our habits towards a sustainable commitment. We formulate our cosmetics from 100 % natural ingredients, and select quality, organic and fair trade raw materials.

We have been labelled Nature & Progrès since the beginning. We are also labelled COSMOS ORGANIC and SLOW COSMETIQUE. Being in a zero waste policy, our products are sold in bulk or in recycled and/or recyclable packaging.   We take into account the environmental impact of the manufacturing process of our raw material.

Antheya is a brand with the desire to offer natural and healthy everyday cosmetics at reasonable prices accessible to all, only distributed in specialized stores or pharmacies.

Our award-nominated Solid Conditioner is entirely natural and certified organic. It’s crafted using a bio-based surfactant sourced from renewable sugar beet and rapeseed, ensuring 100% renewable origins. Created in our Calais-based manufacturing laboratory, it’s made from just six ingredients. Additionally, it’s enriched with organic castor and sesame oils, along with fair trade organic shea butter, providing intense nourishment for your hair.

The company now has 1,000 m2 of surface, including 300 m² of laboratory space. We invest in new production equipment based on demand and evolution.

We all work in the same place, which promotes decision-making and teamwork. One of our golden rules is to offer a real transparency of our cosmetic products.
